Wat u think about goin to a Private Dealership???

Wats up today i went to the infiniti dealership and they were asking for alot for a 03 g coupe auto..Wat do yall think about going to a private dealership?? Im not trying to spend more than 21k...There are alot of private dealerships near my house and im thinking about going there to purchase a cheaper g. Would any of you purchase from a private dealership?? What are some of the advantages and disadvantages from purchasing from a private dealership??? Thank Your for your input and suggestions!!

only thing is the inspection that the private dealerships wont be as good as Infiniti or Nissan. With these cars I would hate to get my hands on one that was beat on during the break in period.

What are you looking for in a coupe for 21k. Is that before tax and tag. You want high miles? Maybe you'll find a steal somewhere

I purchased my '04 G35 coupe from a Chevrolet dealership that is less than half a mile up the road from the Infiniti dealership. The previous owner traded it on an '06 Corvette.
My G35 is still under factory warranty, plus I was able to transfer the extended Infiniti premier warranty for $50.
As far as I'm concerned my local Infiniti dealership treats me like I bought the car from them, which only makes sense if they want my current and any future business.

What's that based on ? I purchased my 04G from a private party in another city and my local Inf dealer treated me like a king replacing my front pads and rotors under the factory warranty without blinking an eye.
If you think about it, what do they have to gain treating you like dirt..they want MORE service customers.

Have you been looking around lately?
It's pretty easy to find an 03 for $21k OR LESS.

Here's an excellent 04 for 35k miles, 6 speed and navi asking $21.9

Depends on where you live too, and where you go to get the car.

go to the private dealership and take the car to a mechanic and have them look it over then to an autobodyshop to make sure its had no major body repair

A private dealership was trying to sell me one that looked nice and drove great. I brought it to my dads body shop and they looked at it... It had damage that had been covered up. The trunk had been dented in but the bumper cover looked clean.

Keep in mind that most cars sold at independent dealerships were acquired at auction or wholesale meaning that the manufacturer supported dealers took the cars in on trades, but are worth too little for them to recondition and sell themselves.
