other then the difference in length I am not sure whatelse is different so you might want to see if someone here actually did the same as you. One thing when installing th muffler is that there is a bolt from the diff that will hit one of the pipe I can't remember which one so my mechaninc lowered the hangar a little and no issue with it.

looking to purchase a 350z HKS Hi Power TD exhaust and somehow install it on my 2005 g35c.

does anyone know if i need and 8" or 6" extension and what diameter piping for that extension?

i was looking into purchasing x02 extensions... would that work as well?

Simple solution, find a knowledgable muffler guy in your area and have him make the extensions you need for a perfect fit. Pickup 4 more OEM gaskets before you have the extensions made, they're 100% better than aftermarket!

I bought the nismo exhaust (which is only for the 350z) and it required the extension that you can buy off of Mynismo.com
bolted it up and it worked perfect. Only thing is I had to extend the tips out an inch (for mine it was almost 2 inches since I have a custom rear diffuser.

it will work. just get the ext pipe.
