Viper Remote Start/Turbo-Timer is Unreal!!!

Just had mine installed yesterday - - all these features are insane, and the remote start and turbo-timer capability make it that much better. Highly recommended the Viper for all needing enhanced security, remote start, and turbo-timer!

is this the one with the LCD pager remote that has the 1 mile range antenae? if so its sick & Im getting it installed soon.
I think it has a optional camera installed in interior so if anyone breaks into your car it snaps photo's of them & sends the pics to your pager

^^^^^ there better then that. GPS tracking and off/on via laptop
is the way. You can see where your car is driven and by who and
how fast there going + real time GPS. Had this on my other car
3 years ago.

Viper is mid level stuff

my $.02

^ive heard of this as well. Can't recall the name, but its better than lo-jack. I got the Viper Remote start and ill probably upgrade later on this year to something more powerful. I really can't complain too much about it since its winter time. We all know we can use a remote start in the wee mornings when we need to warm the car up

Compustar boasted the 1 mile range for years. But they also recently added real time GPS tracking and kill capabilities on their new Compustar Pro series. I had Compustar installed on mines and was completely happy with it, except if you live in the city, you won't get the full 1 mile range. Did anyone really test the 1mile range on the viper unit? And if so, is that in a city with so many frequencies and buildings interfering with the signal?

I am looking into getting one but don't really know which one I want.

starter kill is not that big of a deal if u have manual trans, car can always be push started as long as transponder is active somewhere in the car

but I've looked into those GPS alarms b4
I dont know if things have changed but
...the catch with those are ...sure it has GPS but u had to pay like $7-$10 or something everytime u wantd to locate the car ....which sux b@lls
hopefully things have changed by now & maybe u can do it at will as many times as u want for free that would make it worth while

I would love to have it if its like that now ...so i could deliver my own brand of justice to a car theif!! S&W or Ruger
