Hey big..i noticed in your sig you have those nos seat covers...i was thinking of getting a set of them for the front 2 seats and then getting and putting NOS stickers on the back seats sense the seat covers are kind of expensive. Anyways, did that add any HP yo your car?

actually i only put them on at the track because it's a little bit too much shp (sticker horsepower) for a daily driver. but it's totally up to you.

I imagine they will be much stiffer and so ride more harshly.

My main concern is what happens if you wreck the tire enough, say from metal in the road (not that could ever happen on the NJ Turnpike or NY State Throughway!) that it is can't be used. If you have no spare you are up the proverbial creek. I don't think they are ready yet, except for cars with absolutely no room and with drivers willing to take that risk. --My unasked for 2 cents.

I'm still concerned about damage that makes the tire unusable. Then youare stuck and at the mercy of tow trucks, etc. The ride will likely be worse also. To me, the downsides are much greater than the plus of a sub.

Why don't you post what tires you find for the G, if there are any?
