Another "should I paint my stock 18" wheels" question

Well, it going to be a while before I can afford some new wheels. (I'm leaning towards the 19" Volk GT-C in gold, as of now.)

Here's a quick photoshop of some bronze OEM 18" wheels that I did on my car.

Opinions?

i think bronze should be a little darker than that.. but i've seen one G did that it nd it looks hot

I'd say save the money man. Think of it this way, you save a few hundred now by not painting them and when you get your new wheels, you can sell your stock setup for a few hundred later. The market for bronze stock 18" wheels is probably very narrow. You'll be doing your pocket book a favor by not painting them.

To be honest Im not crazy about it. Im wanting to get my 18s painted too cause mine are all stained. I have a Liquid platinum G and im thinking of either black or like a gun metal color for rims.

I'm in a Twilight Blue coupe and I was thinking the same. I would also like to see 1 or 2 shades darker. Not quite Subaru bronze, but darker than the above pic. I'm in the same spot as you, not being able to get new wheels for 6 months or so. If you Photoshop a pic with the right bronze I'll go get them done first so you can see how they look.
