Clunking noise from Stablizer bar link nut loose?
I got this clunking noise (souds like metal bumping into metal noise) from my right front wheel after about 2000 mi on my "new" 2006 6MT everytime I drive over even a little bump on the road. I took it to the dealler and they told me the stablizer bar link nut was loose. They tighten it and the noise was gone. But after another 500 mi, last Thursday, it showed up again. I went to the dealler and they tight it and told me they are ordering the part and will replace it when it arrives.
My question here is: Did anyone experienced this? I am wondering if it's just my car or it's a more broad problem for G coupe or even 06 model. Also, what is this Stablizer bar thing? This event really put some doubts on my confidence with the G35 being a quality car vs BMW I was comparing, and I finally decided on G35. Thanks for your help in advance.
I will report the progress of the replacement later.
