BUMP - Dont want my battery to run dead and I would much rather find a solution to the problem rather than leave the batter unhooked all night.

Did you try rotating the light switch all the way forward then back to OFF? Maybe it will reset something.

Get anything done to your car recently?

worse case, find the foglight fuse and pull it. Good luck.

No, but my car has been acting up a little lately. One day I turned it on and the horn started going off until i turned the damn thing off. I think I may have some sort of electrical problem. I will look for the fuse I guess... Anyone have a fuse diagram for the 2005 Coupe?

It's on the side kick panel between the door and the floor on the driver side. There is a little cut out with a small plastic latch.

Found it but I cant figure out which fuse will cut the headlights off. This is pissing me the hell off. **** is just happening left and right and im second guessing on the car is worth the money i payed for it.

Anyone know a way i can get the lights to go off so it doesnt run my battery down overnight?

Are you sure your lights are staying on forever and not just turning on for a little bit and then shutting off a minute after you lock your car? The OEM default setting is for the lights to stay on for a minute after locking the car if you have the light switch to the AUTO setting.

I'm sure you know this.. but if you manually turn the light switch on your blinker stalk inside the car to the OFF position, it shuts the lights off immediately. Also, did you try manually turning the fog light switch on the stalk to the off position too? There is a seperate turny **** on the stalk... it's towards the middle of the stalk(whereas the overall headlight **** is on the end of the stalk)... turn that to the OFF position too.

I suggest first turning your car off, then stand outside it for like 2 or 3 minutes and see if the lights turn off on their own... assuming you haven't already given it that much time to turn off.

Im aware that they stay on for 2-3 minutes after locking the car. My fog lights have been on for over 30 minutes. I also am aware of how to turn off the lights immediately with the off switch.

Im currently calling Hawaii because their service department is still open but it is taking them forever to take my call.

Maybe someone else knows something that I dont to get them off?

If I'm not mistaken, the fuse panel for the fogs in under the hood by or in the battery compartment......I believe it is on my 04 anyways......

Thats really strange....I never heard of anyone with that problem before.....
Good luck with your fix......

Well, I try to make it to autozone before they close but i dont make it so my last option is to just unhook the battery. I get home, turn it off and go inside to get the tools and come back out and the damn lights went off. Apparently I have some sort of electrical problem I guess. How in the hell am I going to get Infiniti to diagnose it if its intermittent?

PS: Thanks for the responses guys. I was flippin out and really wanted to get it fixed asap to stop the battery from draining.
