Damn that sucks. My current KLZE MX6 has horrible wind noise and I was totally hoping to avoid that. But like others have said, I didn't have a chance to drive the G yet. Actually just starting to walk around to dealerships this month.

yes, it has wind noise. reason being. the windows arent really sealed... you can stick ur finger thru the window even though its fully rolled up... what POS technology is that?

i didnt notice it until got a better look at the car... the window is only sealed with some plush rubber. my integra has less wind noise.

I don't think it's wind noise, I think it's actually road-noise. I noticed my G was quieter on the highway when I switched to Pilot Sport All/Season from the stock Pilot Sports. But even then, the road noise isn't that bad. It's a little louder than my wife's TL, but not that much. I can still have quiet conversations with the wife on the highway.

If you want to hear windnoise, let me show you my Pontiac Grand Prix... That thing actually whistles on the freeway. There was a TSB to install a cute little spoiler on the side-mirrors, which got rid of the whistling.

That's not really true. BMWs have been like that for a long time, and they have never been complaints like that... If it didn't really seal very well, then it would leak water if you sprayed the windows down.... They seal just fine... You can tell they seal fine, because when you close the door, you'll notice the sunroof slightly rise because of the rise in air-pressure. You'll also notice the door cushions itself when it closes. Compared to when you crack the windows and close the door. The door will slam shut, and the sunroof won't budge.

You should be fine... I've rented many a Mazda 6s while on business, and I'm always happy to get back in my G. I remember the last Mazda6 I rented was louder than my G on the freeway, because the engine was buzzing like crazy when I was accelerating to speed. (Unless they just don't make em' like they used to, and the MX6 is quieter than the Mazda 6.... I haven't ridden in an MX6 since I was in college, so I can't remember what it was like...

No wind noise that I notice in my car either. At one point my drivers side window did make a slight whistle at like 80 MPH but I had the dealer adjust it and it doesn't do it anymore. Except for the tire noise from my worn out Pilot Sports and the lovely exhaust note, the car is smooth and quiet on the highway at all reasonable speeds.

The person who wrote that review may have just been testing a car that had a defect.

Seriously tho... It's not that loud. You should take a ride in my 68' Chevelle-SS. At 80mph you have to practically scream if you want to hold a conversation with a passenger.....
i do the same !! the rattles are the only thing that bother me i can live with the wind noise

This guy must be **** about about a little wind noise. It's not even that bad. IMHO this is what you expect from a sports car. If you want a quite care get a 3 series or Mercedes and spend a lot more for less of a car and more of a name.

The G does not have a retarded wing like the evo... Taking that wing off could be your solution

I respect the evo, not the teenybopper wing
