you can overnight it to them and theyll overnight it back to you. someone did this and reported his car was down for only two days.

lucky for me they are local

The reason the slip lights turn on is because on the dyno you only spin the rear wheels while the fronts are stationary, which trips the VDC/slip, but after enough "slippage" the computer decides it can't stop the slipping so it shuts down the traction control system and leaves the lights on.

Isn't it just because the technician turned off the VDC by pressing the button? Car still detects slip and displays the light while on the dyno, and it takes a little driving to reset VDC once the button has been pressed again to turn it back on. That happened to my car here in CA when I needed to get a chassis dyno smog check.

i had the same problem, turns out my throttle body was shot, dealer replaced in under warranty
