Something Very Strange..

well today i dynoed my car, when the guy was done and i left,my slip light, abs light and vdc off light was on.i called the guy over and he said its normal cause the computer freaks out after they dyno the g's and said the lights would go off in about 10 min.well i drove away in 10 sec later the lights went away..well later tonight...i drove to a friends house and it seemed the car woke the hell up..i really don't get it but its even fast and smoother..in conclusion i was thinking about it a lot of people say after every mod you do,you should reset the ecu..i never did for any of my mods..,do you think the dyno today had something to do with messing with the ecu and resetting it?, i have no doubt in my mind the car is way different from this morning..and way faster

he didn't tune it? and, unless he reset the car (which, he probably did seeing as how you noticed some extra grunt), you have something going on with those mods. or your maf is dirty, or any number of things. who knows. if the lights come back on for no reason, get the code read at autozone or dealership, and see what's going on.

You disconnect the battery and hold down the brake pedal for a few minutes.

psycraft, Your car was probably in "limp mode" after the dyno. It happens when all those lights turn on.

I'm sure as hell w/ all those mods your car isn't any faster than a stock one, go get her tuned... reflash the ECU (technosquare does a good job), and you will shyt your pants.

Dont go the piggy back route, just get a reflash through technosquare... its $500, and you'll have the ECU back in less than a week.
