Help! Vcd light and Slip Light On? er?
Alright guys! Like the title says er?
So This is the story...
I go pick up my GF, but she ended up lagging because she had practice, So I turned off the car and waited, took about 10-15 minutes. Then I get back into the car, and drive off, After about 30 seconds of driving I noticed the vdc and slip light come on, then stupid as it sounds, I just realize I can't tell how fast I am going... my Speedometer is not working! Amazed as I was I quickly pull over and restart the car, same thing happened... So I get home, and I eat dinner, hoping that it was just some malfunction and after it rests it'll go away =P but life isn't a dream, but more of a horrible nightmare, after starting her up again, I notice all lights came on, E, VDC, slip etc. Also my Tach is acting weird, this is what it does. After start up it quickly dropped to 0, then bounces back up, then to 0, it repeats this process. Then I disconnected the Batt, and waited about 15 mins, since most resets don't take long. After putting it back on, everything goes back to problem one, which was slip + vdc and speedo not working... So I am prepared to go to the dealer tomorrow and ask them to help me, I am wondering now as I type, do you think they will blame this on my 1/2 spacer. I only have 3 mods on the car, 1/2 spacer, hks exhaust, and one suspension mod, s-techs. Also, my car isn't under warranty =( . So guys Please tell me your thoughts guesses etc! Oh btw my brake fluid isn't low, nor are my rotors / brakes. Refurfaced and replaced couple months ago, but I was going to bleed my system next week. So could it be that? Let me know please! this malfunction is killing me !!!! Never had a problem with the G since now, arg thanks!

I had a similiar problem with the braking system. I had the VDC off, Slip and ABS lights on after driving the car for a while (may be 2 mins). I checked my brake pads and brake fluid and everything seems to be OK. I brought the car back to the dealer two weeks ago, they replaced the VDC/TCS/ABS control unit and also one of the ABS sensor for me. The fix seems to solve the problem.
There's a TSB for the control unit:
