SUPPLEMENTAL AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT what is that i looked in the oener's manual. all it said was the air bags may not operate properly. why do the air bags stop working and if i take the car to infiniti is it under warranty
There is a defect in one of the airbag sensor, that may cause the airbag to not function in case of an accident. It is covered under warranty. I am bringing mines in tomorrow to get another one replaced. This is my second airbag sensor to go bad
The Airbag light went off on my wifes 04 G35 sedan. Took it in an they replaced the passenger air bag module. The next day the "Service Engine Soon" light come on an they had to replace on of the O2 sensors. The next day after that the "SES" came on again, they reset the computer and sent me onmy way. The light has come again they replaced the O2 sensor again and the light came back on again over the weekend. Car is at the dealers for the 4th time in less than 2 weeks.
At this pont i'm begining to think that when they replaced the air bag module that something came lose or they damaged something.
Any one else experience anything like this?

my airbag light is blinking (little guy with seatbelt and airbag deployed-RED), just turned the car on today and noticed. I'll be calling Infiniti later is there anything, reset maybe I can do myself to try and get this light away?
^ Yea there's a way to reset it yourself but if the warning light is coming on on its own, meaning you didn't tamper with the console, I'd take it into the dealer for inspection.

Just got off the phone with a tech and he said if it's flashing, there is probably something light on the seat such as a cell phone and files/papers in my case and the light blinks to warn you that the airbag wont deploy due to not having weight on the seat (safety measure for babies/small children to be in backseat) After awhile the light should go off, IF it stays on steady then to bring it in for a check-up. Never had this happen before though??? i think i was just fed a huge bowl of BS
I've had this happen to me twice...
The first time was about a year ago and Infiniti indicated it was a faulty sensor and had it replaced...
The 2nd time (about a month ago), Infiniti blamed my CompuStar Car Alarm/Starter. They said they reset the sensor and it should be fine, but I should have my $700 accessory removed.
I think my Infiniti Dealer is giving me the run around as my professional alarm installer had installed my system in a way to not impact factory settings, anyone have any suggestions as to how to tell Infiniti they're full of BS?

Are you getting full yet? That's a bunch of bs bro. Your passenager seat airbag sensor won't even detect if it doesn't meet the weight requirement, which is like around 80lbs. Fine, remove everything off the seat and see if it still happens.

More attempts to fix the same warranty problem are required, and more time is usually allowed (although it differs between states).
