Hey guys I'm planning on selling my G35 Coupe soon and was wondering what you guys have been getting for them. Seems like the resale values have dropped dramatically over a last few months. I have an 04 Coupe auto no premium and 37k and honestly don't expect a whole lot more than $22,000 or so for it stock...

Also has anyone ever brought their car to carmax? I fixed a dent on my quarter panel before and I assume this would lower their offer?

Resale values have dropped only due to anticipation for the 08 coupe. Otherwise, it is still pretty high. Even Infiniti overestimated the depreciation of our cars. I wouldn't go the carmax route. I've done it and I wouldn't go that route again. You could get a whole lot more if you just sold it yourself. Check the kelly blue book value of your car and then use that as a guide post for what you could sell your G for. Good luck.

I have a friend who has an '05 G coupe with around 10K mile. It's fully equipped except for nav. CarMax offeded him $24K and the best offer he got on a trade-in was $25K. So the only way that you'll get $22K is if you sell it privately.

Dont accept anything less than 26K.

Keep it clean to give a better impression, if that helps at all

I'm selling mine soon too, just a word of advice, wear a cup, and prepare for people to lowball the crap out of you. You are going to have lots of people on forums criticizing your pricing, but trust me, the car is worth it. Keep the car clean and best of luck to ya.

I just sold my 05 coupe with 15k miles to Carmax at $26k. I'm happy coz I want to get rid of the car w/o the hassle of doing a private sale.

you can sell for a up to 3k more than wat carmaz usually offers/they are like dealers so they need a margin to make a profit.. ya know the deal, dealer buys it for 21 and sell it for 26... so much BS.. postin on autotrader for 40 bucks will prolly get u the most money for it.
