I am in Louisiana and I run my tires with the recommended 35psi. all of the time. You'll be fine with 35psi.

id leave it personally especially if the guy at the chicago dealership said so as well.

Put in 35lbs. cold and you'll be fine no matter where you are.

Well if you want the tires to last, I would monitor and make any adjustments on the tire pressure as needed in both places. Just to be on the safe side. That's what I would do.
Good luck with that though.
