personally, i'd never buy a car with a salvage title no matter what happened to it. But, if you must, it sounds like a good deal to me, really low miles and 6mt, cant beat it.

You might want to obtain a CarFax report (check their website) by running the Vin#, to track the car history of and find out what exactly happened.

Just remember resale value is going to be low. If you ever want to trade it in they wont give much for it.

Yeah, I dont think I would purchase a car with a salvaged title. BUT, if you really want to get it I would try to bring it down further like papiloco said.

Look at the replies on this thread to get some ideas.

A salvage title means NO warranty. So you are giving up a warranty period of 51,000 miles. Not too smart if you ask me. This is especially true when you look at the TSB's for our cars. Small things that go out and need replacement will cost you BIG without warranty.

Step away and look for a car with a good history!
