Question Edited: Vortech it is Any advice is appreciated

My First Post:
Sup fellas,

Hey guys, thanks for the tips, I'm leaning towards the Vortech kit, that thing is amazing in my opinion. So say I get the kit, and have it installed. What else would you guys get put on if you had like 5 grand to spend on it after the SC kit? -- I want to keep it a daily driver, but be able to up the boost and hit the track, etc.

And I will have to get it dyno'd before and after I'm thinking

I'm not really looking for a pure drag car, I just want an insanely fast street car that I can take a trip to the track or dragstrip occasionally. See how fast I can get it up to on the way to work, etc ;D

I've modded 2 cars before, 1 was complete eye candy and won best car at my HS (it was a new beetle, and ya know it had to be sweet considering it was a chick car) And the other one was a vr6 swap into a new beetle, which ended up having too many problems so I had to sell it after fixing it up cuz it was a moneyhole... Both black low riders.

I'm not looking for eyecandy on my G, just a sleeper basically.

Thanks a bunch
-Brock

gtr is too short. our search function requires the search to be longer than that.

what you do is your choice. if i were you, i'd mod what you have now.

if you get a g, you should get a dyno as a baseline idea to see where you are at to begin with.

make the decision now if youre going f/i or not. if you are, dont waste money on n/a mods and just save up for f/i. intakes are mostly purchased for the increased induction sound they produce anyway.

I would definately be going with FI, so with FI you don't build the internals at all?

-- Sorry for my ignorance
