I admit that i am too obsessed with my car. We should really cherish our lives. Your friend taught us a great lesson.
RIP...my condolences

wow, that truly sucks man. only 22?
im starting to doubt how safe our G's are in high speed. maybe its not ment to go faster then 60mph? over those speed, our G do feel a little rocky. my integra, which has a lower stance feels more stable at those speed. and it doesn't even have rear active steering nor the VDC crap.

i think so. my integra feels more stable at higher speed then my G. the G is smoother yes, but stable at high speed?
nope. I see more people crashing their G alone in this forum then the entire HONDA/ACURA lineup at honda-tech.com.
anyways, sorry to hear about the loss. I hope people learn that speeding/racing on a public hwy is not worth it.

how come all the airbags didn't go off though?
I'm very skeptical about my air bag system in my G =/

sorry to hear and RIP

sorry for your loss....
airbags only deploy if the sensor indicates an impact above a preset speed and preset impact level. the side airbags probably deployed because the car was in a roll and the side sensors detected that. the front airbags did not deploy becuase there was no impact to the front bumper.
