front bumper peg removal

hey guys,
for those of you that have taken off your front license plate, did you ever have 2 white pegs that are attacked from the bumper into the engine?

for those of you that had this, did u brake it off? get it painted? something?

thanks in advance,
Russ

They are pastic inserts that hold the liscense plate frame to the bumper. They can be pulled out with a pliers and filled with bondo and a repaint if you want. In FL law does not require us to have the license plate in the front so we dont have a problem with that
