My oem **** was showing alot of wear so I went down to MyNismo in Duarte and bought myself a Nismo Ti Shift ****...It feels really nice...when you shift it

hard the **** feels alot more solid than the oem one...I thought the install was gonna be a bitch...I read in alot of posts that it's really hard to take the oem

**** off but it was really easy...I just used a wrench to hold down the metal shaft and i just twisted it off with my hand...I highly recommend this ****

Do all the older coupe's have that button below the ashtray? I don't have that.

 

I dont have it either, my guess is it opens the ashtray..... but I could be wrong. Mine's just spring loaded.

 

i think it's on the older coupes...it's not an ashtray...it's just an extra compartment...i keep my lighter in there

Mine's a bit different. My ashtray is next to the harzard light button. The area you have circled is just one large compartment for me.

 

ic...behind my ashtray are the seat heater switches and then i have one large compartment, which also has two cup holders

 

thanks for the pixs. cause i think i found my new shift ****. that matches well the the center console. also you have a 2003 console, from 2003.5 they changed it. u can get an uprage from everythingg35 so u can see the differences. heres the link

Ahh ok. I have heard about the initial ones they changed early on but never seen one before.

Conrats on the shift ****. I have the same one and have been very happy with it. Goes great with a RE short throw shifter.
