Do our cars have CD-Text with the stock radio? - G35Driver

Do our cars have CD-Text with the stock radio?

I have a 2003 with the Bose stereo and the 6 disc in dash changer or whatever, on the few occasions I've actually listened to the radio, I know it has the scrolling text, but does it support CDText?

Normally I just listen to my ipod, but I mad some mix cds earlier and noticed no text came up on the display. For some reason I thought our cars had this feature? Maybe not because I have the changer? I'm wondering if it's my stereo or perhaps itunes just doesn't do CD Text properly.

it has never displayed for any of my store-bought(non-burned) cd's

My 2005 does. You will find that not many CDs contain the text though.

You have to set it to display just like you do with the radio. Just do it when a CD is playing.

yeh..i noticed a lot of my older cd's had text. but none of the new ones.
