I read somewhere that the stockers almost performed as well as the Brembo's in everyday driving, which is one of the reasons I believe Infiniti discontinued Brembo's after 04. So unless you are a road racer and need the high performance brakes, the stockers are fine.

Thanks for the Info Clifftrail, also another thing is how can you tell if the G35 is an M6 or not. Do all M6's have the spoiler and the non M6's don't????

M6 I assume is 6 Manual Transmission.
And you can tell the diff by the number of pedals on the floor and the shift handle and the center console.

There is no visual diff from the outside. The only diff is the interior design

+1
I heard the guys at infiniti talking about that..
they said the 03-04 brembos were mostly for looks and not performance.
if you took those brembos out to the track they would not perform as
expected from other aftermarket brakes..

you can tell its a m6 from the way the car drives.

Is the spoiler an option then? When you purchase the car.

Don't know what M6 means. You can purchase a car without the spoiler.

most cars come with the premium package which is basically a sunroof. spoiler is included in the aero package. try building a car on the infiniti website. the main differences between the 04 and 06 are:
the 06 has projector headlights, different front and sides with sport package, different taillight design, aluminum interior trim, different seat belt design, and rev-up motor.
the 04 has brembos and plastic interior trim, clock is below the AC display instead of above, and other miscellaneous interior stuff.

If you're not going to road race, autox, or track you don't need the brembos. under daily driving stock performs just as well. you main thing is brake fade during tracking. if you don't know what that is, then you definitely don't need the brembos.

brembos are VERY expensive to replace rotors, pads, etc

thats why infiniti switched to the oem ones they have now; too many people complained that the brembos were to expensive to maintain.

In Canada the spoiler is standard equipment on the 6mt, only options are nav. and rear active steer on 06 and up. You can get the spoiler as an option on the auto.

exactly...the brembos are superior brakes...i'd choose them over an upgraded interior anyday...that's just me though
