6000k vs 8000k has been beaten to death already

6000k is more popular on this site for some reason, I had them & like them a lot
later found a set of 8000k for a good price so jumped on it ...put them in & I LOVE them

i guess to each is own, i personally love the ice blue color of the 8000k anything over 8000k will look straight Blue

& yes changing them is a PITA

How is your vision in the rain?

That's what I thought. I'd opt for safety over looks any day.

maybe u are thinking of the (real blue) 10,000k bulbs cuz 8000k is fine not much diff than 6000k IMO
vision in the rain is fine, not much difference than the 6000k
but it definitely is not as good as using the stock 4300k

my first set-up was 6000k w/stock 4300k in fogs
now Im running 8000k w/6000k in fogs

visibility also depends on what kind of area u drive, no one never talks about that ...if u drive in rural or wooded area u probabaly need the brightest light u can find
I live in the city & we have enough street lamps out here & if need be its possible to drive with your headlights off at night & get around with no problem (until someone hits you)

soooo everyone here who says 6000k is the best ...I suppose used 8000k & 6000k right?
Im sure some of u have but from what i know about G35Driver.com ...most ppl's opinions are from hearsay, word of mouth & looking at "the lighting chart " and not from personal xperience I have both & IMO the difference btwn 6000 & 8000 is insignificant when it comes to visibility
some will disagree ...It might also depend on how good your eyesight is mine is better than 20/10

i have 2 kids & wouldnt compromise my safety or theirs for nicer looking lights, if the visibility was bad I wouldve been took them out long ago ...if i lived or visited Southern NJ often maybe would go 6000k its kinda country & extremely dark down there at night
