Well i think im going to keep it. I have heard the Injen on youtube.com and other sites and i love the sound of it. I have a 2000 firebird with all custom exhaust on it and I have had drone on that car for a long time. Im used to it and to be honest it doesnt bother me at all. I will also be installing Megan Racing headers on it and i already have Kinetix hi-flo cats already on my car. So my flow should be pretty well with this!

put it on first. If you like it, keep it. Screw what we say. Your opinion in the end is all that matters.

Thanks for the feedback! I am going to try and have it installed this weekend...what do you think it would run for the install of the exhaust and the headers?

Hey bud, I heard this exhaust on a 350Z here in Auburn and I will be honest it has a weird sound to it. IMO it does sound ricey like a civic or something. Real high pitched tone to it. I would recommend reselling it and going with Borla or something along those lines for the same price. Just my 2cents.

install if you can deal with:

an exhaust that is louder than hks

drones like a b!tch

tries to bite the look of hks and does a poor job of it

however, i will say/admit that it sounds mean. if youre outside the car...

just my two cents

installation for an exhaust should never be more then 50-60 bucks. if you pay anymore then youre getting raped.

headers are another story...expect to pay 300-500 bucks worth of labor. on place quoted me 1600 to install headers. of course i laughed in their face...

I had this exhaust in its original form 2 years ago. It was loud at first but sounded good. It seemed to have calmed down after a couple hundered miles or I got used to it. I then went with high flow cats and headers and the exhaust. That resulted in an exhaust that was waaaay too loud and didnt sound good anymore. My opinion is that its nice by itsself but it is not very friendly with other breathing mods. Theres my .02 cents... spend it wisely.

I have the INjen on my car and I love it......opinions are like a$$holes...everybody has one. Put it on and if you like it keep. IMO it sounds great..no drone like these guys are saying

It has a nice deep throaty growl like a V6 is suppose to sould like with exhaust work.

The Track Edition is a sick exhaust, so long as youre not inside the car with it. From outside, the exhaust sounds sick as hell and mean too. But inside, its loud as **** and the drone is awful. Like Gdup35sedan said, I had it for about 4 months before I got rid of it and replaced it with the Fast Intentions system. It was fun while I had it and it looks bad-*** but its just too loud for me

Here's a video clip of my car with the Injen Track Edition and a z tube and KN filter.
