Dyno of plenum 1 week later...
Dyno of plenum 1 week later...
I posted some dyno graphs a while ago showing a loss of HP and torque after installing my Crawford plenum. I had some great input from forum members and the consensus was that the ECU was the culprit. I took the advice of Doug from Crawford and drove the car for a week and dynoed again. The numbers changed quite a bit. I now see gains and NO losses ! I also did an A/F reading this time. The A/F numbers mean nothing to me so I'm hoping for some expert analysis from some of the more knowledgeable forum members.
Dyno 1 day after plenum install compared to dyno 11 days after plenum install. (ECU adaptation is totally responsible for the difference)
Dyno 11 days after install vs last mod: Brullen Exhaust. No losses, but gains in the high RPMs
Lastly, the air / fuel reading for the last dyno (11 days after install). I need some advice as to if these numbers look OK.

Chris,
I can't see your graphs for some reason. Can you provide the dyne numbers change summary? How much peak and rpm range of change. Did the exhaust provide any increased HP?

I've seen dyno's comparing stock and Crawford plenums, and if memory serves it showed an average of about 10 hp to the wheels. The mod mostly favoured higher rpm increases from about 3k on up, where the increase was more like 15 hp.
It may be biased, but log into www.crawfordzcar.com
I'm sure there is a dyno there, somewhere.

Re: Dyno of plenum 1 week later...
The third dyno, Dyno 12 vs 20 is a comaprison of plenum vs no plenum. Dyno 12 is my car with only my sport exhaust and stock plenum and intake. Dyno 20 is the car with sport exhaust, stock intake and Crawford plenum. There are no gaiins before 5500 RPM, then it looks like I picked up about 10HP and 8 ft lbs or torque at around 6300 RPM.
