G35c or BMW Z4

I am on the fence on whether to buy a 2003 BMW Z4 w S/P or an 04 G35 Coupe.

Would like a flashy looking daily driver that is not too hard on the pocket maintenance-wise. I like atheletic cars with decent performance, but never-the-less livable and not daily punishment.

Which would be the better choice? Do all G35cs feather their tires badly?

I own both the G and the Z4M. G is a great car, but not as agile, but definitely more comfortable on long drives. I would say G35 if you live in area where it'd snow. If not, go with Z4.

I vote for the G. I have also had both cars.

G:
It is cheaper on pocket maintenance.
It has more cabin room
It has 4 seats.

Z4:
The seats do not recline much.!!!
I consider the Z4 to have a bigger trunk, but it really matters if you are carrying a large suit case versus a snowboard.
I believe the Z4 is much better in the snow.
Some say it handles better than an e46 M3.

No the Z does not have more lugage room (consider back seets). No the G isn't cheaper on maintenance if you lease a Z4, because maintenance is free on leases for bimmers. No a Z4 does not handle better than a m3. Lastly the Z seems kinda slow. It even has an engine speaker (to make the engine sound loader and feel more sporty). I would go G.

G has it's known problems..rattles and such...I would consider a G...Z4M is heads above the regular Z4 in terms of performance, so my opinion is skewed about Z4. Z4 does come with free maintenance where Gs do not.

The Z4 I am looking at is an '03 3.0i, so it will be at the end of its free maintenance warranty

I am 6' 1" and 230lbs but fit pretty comfortably in the Z4, apart from the top of the windsheild being at eye level

If u are 6'1" i wouldn't recomend it. I am 6'1" and drove the friends z4 for about an hour strait and wanted to get out of the car. I mean its a blast to drive but if u drive a lot u will not be comfortable in it.

Honestly hard choice.
I had a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i SMG
Black Nav LOADED.
I loved the car...still one of my favorite cars. Quick and go-kart like handling.
I love my coupe...but two different type of cars kind of. I wish I had both.
BEWARE, the freakin Z4 is incredibly impractical.

Oh by the way...the trunk is the Z4 is better. Bigger opening.
THE Z4 SUCKS SOOOO MUCH IN THE SNOW ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY...and so does my coupe. You can't differentiate that level of suckiness.
