So where do I get a technosquare ECU reflash ? I live in Norcal. And should I wait till i have done mods to car ? Right now I havnt done anything except a new clutch and fly :/

 

I've been over 150 on open freeway out west but I''l be damn if I'm gonna' take my hand off the wheel to take a picture to prove that; that would be stupid and I hope no one tries this...

Also, if your going to drive this fast, don't take anyone with you and be sure the road is clear as far as you can see; also, drive over the place at least once to make sure there are no holes or debris because if you hit anything like that, it can be real bad faster than you can imagine!!!

 

^haha I was about to say have someone else take it and then you threw in don't have anyone with you. I was thinkin maybe the 05-up had a higher limiter but it looks like htowns is an 04. I dunno why mine won't do over 145.

 

Was VDC off?
It sure makes a difference in the way the drive-by-wire works at high RPM's for my 6MT for sure. The car is a beast with VDC off!

 

i have had mine up to 144mph just a few weeks ago an and up to 148 a few months ago, and it still had plenty left..

 

I've only had mine up to 140 on a track, but I def had more power to go....just ran out of space

be careful tho!

 

if u have a 6 spd, try maxing out every gear without hitting redline and u may beat the limiter. i've had the needle past 160 many times with an 04 and 05. it never failed.

 

A couple of folks have posted photos of their speedo at 150-155. You'll just have to search for them.

 

Limiter on the 06/07 is 157mph, I can vought for breaking 150, but not by much (like 152ish). I found an article on this recently because when I was running at that speed I was wondering why I hadn't hit one yet. The 05 and later had on click at 145-147. I will post the article if I can find it again

 

took mine all the way up to 152 with no problem, it was still climbing but my nervs couldn't take it any more.

 

as long as it's at the track! we already had some dumbsmuck get banned the other day for posting his street race video (twice actually) upto 120. ... that wasn't his only problem... he couldn't read, speak, type, punctuate or spell english either . lol
