Not really. It depends on the track as well as how smooth your driving is. I've got three track days and a dozen of auto crosses on my tires. Haven't needed to change them yet. And I'm far from what you'd call a grandma driver.

Now if you track and daily drive on the same tires... then yeah, you'll be burning through them rather quickly.

hmmm....something tells me someone can do better than mid 11's on stock internals. boost the **** out of it and put bigger tires. he was spinning bad off the line. now, that motor might only make 1 run, but it'd be stock internals.

Im definately not going to the track with the intention of skidding or spinning tires on my first track day, so I guess it'll be fine
