How much HP gain can i expect from Vortech SC if my car is stock right now? What other bolts on modds are good if i want to go with the Vortech SC? Also i know it's been asked many times, but what's the difference between HP and WHP?

Stop trying to hi-jack this guys thread and either start your own thread or do some searching.. sorry if that sounds rude, it's not meant to be.

Sorry if i made you feel that way but I wasn't trying to hyjack. If you don't feel like helping me out then just ignore me. I was just looking for a simple answer thats all. And i did do the research, but coulnd't find what whp is , therefore i don't know how much hp the vortech SC gives.

HP = horsepower.. usually refering to the crank of the motor.

WHP = wheel horsepower.. amount of power put to the wheels.

These numbers are obviously different due to the loss of power through drivetrain... This number is anywhere from 10% - 20% power loss pending on what type of transmission (i.e. AT & MT) and if you have any other transmission or rear end mods.

Or you can buy 2slo2bfurious used Turbonetics kit for $3500 and then figure $1500 for install and tune. Spend a little more and get some guages, oil pan spacer, injectors, etc.

Staright out of the box, I've been told about 350 whp. With smaller pulleys and some additional stuff, you can get into the 400s.

Wont you need new exaust, intake and all that fun stuff if you want to get a turbo? Or at least get some good power out of the turbo?

ya, ugly as **** old mustang. so you have a 9 second car, that's great if you take it to the track and just drag race it...but to drive around town in it....FORGET ABOUT IT. you show me a 9 second car that i would drive around town and you'll show me a 6 figure car.

you're forgetting the fact that he didn't say he wanted a track drag car that he only drives on the track.

Since it only runs a low 13 second quarter mile.

EDIT - $3k for 30rwhp over $5-6k for 100-130rwhp... I'm missing something
Like the rest of my post.

I mentioned investing it in a suspension/wheel package

If someone really wants quick 1/4 times they really shouldn't have purchased this vehicle. My idea of fast is daily driving purposes and around a track. Not in a straight line. 350whp+ is fast

Considering the origanl post had NOTHING to do with suspension and wheels.. I chose to ignore that part of your post.
