Thanks for all the opinions guys..i greatly appreciate it. Does the white really turn yellowish on the bumpers? Honestly I am not taking how the majority of coupes being dg into consideration anymore. I was looking at desert platinum for awhile but i was thinking it looked like a light champagne'ish (sp.?) color and that's not really what i was looking for. But I am still debating whether i want white or diamond graphite. I am thinking i will decide for whatever is available on the lot that has all my options..lol.

I guess the only thing i'm worried about dg is if it's just a "phase" color that i will get over later on. White is still neutral and in my opinion will never lose it's style. Otherwise i still like both equally at this point in time.

I have a Pearl G and do not have yellowing of the bumpers at all. I love the Pearl, it's not plain white it looks cool under the sun and shines at night under city lights.

Yellowing of bumpers might be a problem only if you live in the sunny southern states & leave your car outdoors all the time. Where I live, I seldom notice this problem with white cars, even some pretty old ones.

sorry for the late reply.. i am totally a white car person.. and if that interior was graphite, i would have taken that car in a heart beat.. everytime i see a white one drive by i still drool.. not that dg isn't great or anything, but i've had all white cars so far.. i think it's because i like the whole "clean" look

When I was buying my car, I had the choice between a loaded 6mt/nav/white with $1000 off msrp or a 6mt/DG for msrp. The white was boring, I paid more and got the better looking car. I even had to wait for it. That's how much I disliked the white. It loses many of the curves and shadowlines that the darker cars show off.

ok...i finally got my car today. I got ivory pearl 6mt/aero/navi. haha. I was looking for the graphite interior but i called 8 locations and noone had that in stock and i HAD to get a car today. SO cerritos infiniti had the showroom car exactly how i wanted but with the tan interior. I justified it because i consider black interior towards more sporty appeal but i already have my prelude...soo i guess i would consider the g35 coupe my luxury car i guess? i dunno...but yeah..i got white ^_^

Hahaha, your lucky you didn't get the DG one they had there. I took that one out for a test drive and let me tell you, the sales guy drove the snot out of it during our test drive. I didn't drive it very hard, just enough to know that I wanted one. I have a Ivory/Graphite on order from Glendale Infiniti because the salesguy at Cerritos told me they don't do any special orders.

 

yea..cerritos didn't do any special orders, kinda weird. But i've already started getting used to the willow interior and i didn't want to wait a couple of months for my car. It's not as bad as i thought though. The only thing bad was that the car had 127 miles on it?? My saleslady said that it was from destination miles from riverside...but 127 miles????? Haha Jerome, maaan when i go to g35 meets i'ma once again be the stock car...i'm gonna be so jealous of everyone
