Turbos Are Finally Affordable

Yo! I don't know if any of you guys are aware of this but... Personally until recently I thought in order to go FI one had to be SERIOUSLY loaded and pay up front and then I stumbled on to this web site:

www.sportcompactonly.com

These dudes will sell you a greddy, turbonetics, w/e it may be kit BUT you can pay for it MONTHLYwith no interest and with no payments for the first 180 days... Roughly 300 bucks a month

I think my chances of going boost in the near future just TRIPLED!!

$300 a month x 180days (6 months) is only $1800... you can't get a turbo kit for $1800...

Same as cash deals are worth taking advantage of, even if you have the money up front. Just pay it off within the 1st 180 days in this case.

Once payments kick in, how many months is the term of the payback? Also, after the 1st 180 days, do they backdate the interest start date?

^^ I would assume they would, which is how it usually is done. But yes I agree same as cash is a great incentive to take. Just like 0% Credit Cards!

I just got an offer for 0% for LIFE on a Balance Transfer as long as I use the CC card 3 times a month... thats a smokin credit card IMO!

I meant no payments for the first 180 days. There is no interest though according to the site though.

This is directly from the site:

Have big plans for your ride? With Sport Compact Only's easy payment plans, you can buy now and pay later—interest free!

What will YOU do with your ride?
A slick body kit. A fly set of wheels. A killer turbocharger. How about all three? The possibilities are endless with Sport Compact Only's easy payment plans. Buy everything you need to transform your car into a head-turning machine and don't pay a lick of interest for up to one year—all without tying up your credit or debit cards.

With Sport Compact Only's easy payment plans, you'll get additional purchasing power plus all these benefits:

No application fee
No annual fee
Low monthly payments
90 days interest-free (minimum purchase $300)
180 days interest-free (minimum purchase of only $1000)
12 months free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance!
Nationwide acceptance at over 9000 locations.

I personally can't afforg 6 grand outta pocket for a kit but 260 a month doesn't sound half bad, I might go for it if I keep the car.

read the .pdf file that follows...

https://www.sportcompactonly.com/docs/CC1Terms.pdf

it's just a credit card with a 22.99% variable interest rate. variable meaning prime+14.73%.

it's a really great deal!!

+1

It's a good deal as long as you can pay it off during the interest free period. Otherwise, the interest will accrue from day 1. No different than a credit card.

That's not even for the kit. Look a little deeper. The HKS turbocharger ONLY is $1800. That DOES NOT include ANYTHING ELSE! No pipes, hoses, intercooler, clamps, engine management, nothing.

If you don't have $1800 liquid you don't need to buy a turbo. There are always extra expenses that are involved in a mod of that magnitude. Play hard, but play smart.
