Would it be possible to put the 6 spoke 17" wheels from the G35 on a 6MT (Brembo clearence issues...)? I am considering this as an alternative to buying 18" snow tires? Have i completely lost it? If there is enough tread on the 17" all season tires to make this alternative a reality, or will I be risking my life at every turn?

6MT, DG w/ tint, prem, aero.

 

Don't know re: Brembo fit, but the stock tires on the 17" wheels aren't all that great in the snow. I bought my G at the end of last January, and it handles lightly dusted or blowed roads okay (if you're used to driving in snow), but it can't handle any sort of build-up.

I got through a major snowstorm with my stock 17's on last year. Had to be very careful at times but made it through w/o any major trouble.
