Hi everyone, I just registered here and have had a 2004 G35 Coupe for almost 2 months now and I love everything about it!! I just have a quick question for you:

I ordered a set of winter tires and 17" ASA rims from tirerack.com (great customer service btw) they have been shipped to my house and last weekend I set out to put them on the car. However I ran into a slight problem, the centering ring on the wheel does not fit over the hub on the car, the ring is too small. So I called up tirerack and they said it may have been a mistake at the warehouse so they sent me out a new set of rings next day and I compared them to the other rings and found them to be exactly the same. So I called up tirerack today and they are thoughly confused because they have not had this problem before. They asked me to measure the hubs on the car to see what the size is, so before I do that later today I thought I would get another opinion on the situation or if you guys know the hub size because mine are supposed to be 66mm but they are larger.
If it is any assistance I had the 18" OEM wheel package on the car before and the rust and dirt was cleaned up and I even tried a little bit of WD-40 before trying to put the ring on the hub. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!!

nissan/infiniti hubs are all 66.1mm

 

They are just slightly larger than the ring, (not sure exactly how much I will find out tonight) it almost looks like it will go on. I will be able to post a pic later tonight but you can't tell the difference with the naked eye. I will also post a pic while holding up the ruler just for kicks. Thanks for your reponses

 

Do you have a dremel or something? If you say that they are about to go on, just bore them out a bit more.
