Does anyone have a picture of a coupe with a cf hood...i am thinking of going witht the nismo body kit and a cf hood but i don't know where to find one..help!!

 

I've been bothering several companies and have kept up with all my sources trying to get a hold of a carbon fiber...I've gotten nowhere...I'm seriously considering just having a custom CF hood made, cuz I'm getting tired of waiting

You know, I've never used Ebay...I just don't trust it for some reason...I know that's not exactly rational, but I can't bring myself to do it...I just want to order from the manufacturer's website...And if Stillen is making one I won't buy it...I'll just wait, but I'm really getting impatient...I wish Varis would release one- I like the colored fiber idea

If enough people are willing to pre-purchase or show interest (20 plus people) I know of a person that will make a custom mold with high quality carbon fiber and full undershell skeleton, oem style. But the interest has to be great enough for him to put the cost into making the mold (molds cost anywhere between 2-3k depending on the size and complexity. I believe he would sell the hoods for 500 to 600 each but the quality is very good. Post if you have interest in it for sure.

They have an carbon fiber hood for the G on their site but no pics of it on the G so not sure if that's just something to come.

Damn! How'd I forget to visit Extreme Dimensions for these past few months?? LOL...Not quite my taste, with the hood bulge, but it's nice

That "bulge" is necessary for clearance for Stillens twin-screw supercharger. You can get the hood with or without.
