Navi update Dvd problem...

No i updated to version 6.4 from 6.1. Wow what a difference. The only problem is that my navigation doesnt auto dim to "night Mode" and make map dark, it only stays in the mode selcted. it has to be manually adjusted in the options for display. I'm going to reload it and see. anyone had this problem or can offer help? thanks

it should! it did on mine before you bought it from me . Don't reload it, have you tried to leave it on day mode with the lights off, then turn the headlights on and turn it into night mode (press the button)..now turn off your headlights only and the maps should switch back to day mode and turn on your headlights again and it should turn to night mode....

That's weird. I updated from 6.1 to 6.5, and no problems here...

You have to leave it on dim when you turn off your car. It automatically turns off the dim mode when the lights are not on and goes to dim mode when the headlight goes on if you leave it on dim with the headlights on.

like I said it WILL NOT switch itself. No matter what I select if the lights are on off, flicked on and off, left on, whatever. I thought that the light sensor might need to be cleaned but my auto lights still go on at night. Sounds like a dealership warranty fix
