Angry An Iceberg Fell On My Car!!!!

so i was driving from NYC to Boston this weekend...on my way to Boston, a HUGE block of ice fell off the top of this truck, flipped in the air and shooted at least 10 meters before it started descending...so this was the worst part, i was contemplating of either going faster or slower to avoid the ice block, but the roads were slippery coz it had been snowing last week and there were cars behind me...everything happened too fast and it smashed onto the right side (right side if u're sitting in the car) of my bumper...at first i thought it was fine, but later on i found out that it knocked off my signal light (corner lights), and also my interior button lights including my clock lights didnt' work, those orange lights that lights up the buttons at night...

i tried resetting the ECU coz i thought it might be some electrical problems, but that didn't work...

does anyone know what's going on?? coz i wanna avoid going to a stealership..

PLEASE HELPPPPPPP!!!

Did it scratch your G at all? You said it knocked out your corner, did it do any body damage?

Any major damage? If so, see if your insurance can help you with that (w/o deductible). If not that major, just check for the short wire from the damage, then check the fuses see if any of them blew. Good luck bro.

I hate those ppl got lazy with clean the snow of their car. Hope they got pulled over (saw a few got stopped, and the staties made them clean the snow off).

Damn that sounds rough. Check out your fuses to make sure that's not what it is.

it scratched off the whole layer of paint right below the lights... prolly 5inch x 5 inch...but i guess it's a blessing in disguise.. since my bumper wasn't cracked or anything...

for the interior lightings, do u know if that would be covered under warrenty?

I'm not sure if the interior lights are covered, but only a few bucks. Check the fuses before you go further.

damn man, sorry to hear that, for future referance, if something falls off a car and hits yours always grab the license plate, take a picture of the vehicle if possible because IF you can prove it came from them, then your pockets wont be so empty

good luck though
