Gas Powered Remote Control G35Coupe
I bought a 1/10 Remote Control car couple weeks ago and finally got it up and working... its a G35 Coupe... it soo sweet! It does 55-60 mph... I ordered the factory paint and clear coat to match my diamond graphite coupe... everyone should have one.. everyone thinks their coupe is the one turning heads.... nevermind that when you take the mini gas powered r/c coupe out of your trunk and start blowing it sideways around the parking lot... i'll try and post a pic of it later tonight when i get out of work... soo fun!

That sounds pretty cool man. I used to be really into building R/C cars until I got into high school and started having too much other stuff to do. I'd love to get back into it though. Personally, I always preferred electric to gas though. It seemed like the gas ones had more problems and liked to leak gas/oil everywhere in the chassis. Maybe they've gotten better about it though. What brand/model car do you have? What company makes the body?

scobic, unless the body is only going to be a shelf model then I would skip painting it with paint from the factory. You need to use paint specifically designed for Lexan bodies or else the paint will flake off badly.
One of my other interests are R/C cars. I have a HPI Nitro RS4 racer 2. I have the two speed tranny is it hauls ***.

Here is a chassis shot. I might pick up one of the coupe bodies for it. You can see other cars of mine here http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=34

Re: Gas Powered Remote Control G35Coupe
Here are a few pics as promised....It's been tossed around several times and is still in great shape... I bought the Diamond Graphite (with flex added) along with the clear coat (with flex added)... the paint is hard as nails on the body.... the flex that is added to the paint is made for flexible materials (like bumpers on the actual car). The pics shown here are just the shell... the chassis is kept out in the garage (don't like keeping the gas in the house)...I have to agree with your guys on the point that the body looks stretched out a little bit... and I think the spoiler it comes with looks nasty (i know its built that way for a purpose but I dont care - its a toy!) I made due with what it was and had a great time doing so... its real fun to play around with...
Here is the link to the pics I took of it... (again, its just the shell and a couple spare wheels i had around... the rest is outside..and its too cold to stand out there taking pics)
