HELIX CAT-DELETE PIPE FOR G35
does anyone have the helix cat-delete pipe yet?

i wanted to know how loud it would be with this part and how much power is gained realistcly.

Test pipes I would think make at least about around 5 hp to the wheels. The one disadvantage to test pipes,is the fact they are illegal in most states when you remove your cats.
Also they produce a raspy noise at the higher RPM's. But if you don't mind that they are a good bang for the buck for HP.
There are several sizes of pipes out there so be careful in what you select. We carry several different sizes at StrictlyZ.com. If you see any that 2.5" I believe those are to big.

On my G35 Coupe 6-speed with Helix cat-deletes and prototype Helix exhaust system, we gained 14whp. The cat deletes themselves account for about 7-8whp of those gains.
Please be advised that the cat-deletes are not smog legal. After bolting on the stock exhaust system, the cat-deletes do cause some raspiness, but do not do so with the Helix cat-back or the Fujitsubo setup.
