clutch not under warranty?

Hey everyone. Sorry for keeping it short, I'm typing from my sidekick. I was told that the clutch wasn't covered under the warranty. I have an 05 coupe with 10000 miles, and my clutch is almost gone and needs replacing. Thanks!

What part do you not understand? The clutch is considered a wear and tear item.

10k miles is early for replacing the clutch? are you driving correctly or did you do something to prematurely wear it out? you can try to get it warrantied but i doubt it's faulty.

Are you driving with your lazy a.ss left leg sitting on the clutch pedal or something? How in the hell do you burn out a clutch in 10K miles...

Have them check the flywheel. My flywheel and tranny were messed up @ 28k miles and the flywheel was eating away the clutch so they replaced all 3 under warranty.

If you KNOW, you KNOW how to drive...and you KNOW your not doing anything wrong driving wise...something has to be defective.... Take it in to the dealer and explain to them your clutch issue...and take em out for a ride if you have to, proving to them you know how to drive a manual transmission

you got what at 10k mi, a new clutch or the car? if you got the car wtih 10k and the clutch is out at 14k then someone crapped on it. but if you have 4k on a new clutch you definitely have something wrong. probably with the install, and if it's an aftermarket clutch installed by anyone else but the dealer, it's not going to be under warranty.

I've dated girls who have worn down their Ear Items...like earings and it wasn't replaced
