Engine life?

Could be a an idler pulley too. I'm not sure if the idler pulleys on a G35 engine are built with a sealed bearing design or not. If they're not, you might be able to loosen your belt and pull off the idler pulley, then pop out the inner bearing race and lube it up with some Mobil 1 Synthetic grease and reinstall. Did this on my Tacoma a few times after going offroading through some pretty nasty water and mud, and that quieted it down(sometimes moisture gets into those bearings and makes them loud and can cause them to get rusty or wash away the lube).

Sure is, and what's even crazier is that he has like twice the milleage of the next highest on record non-commercial road car.

will go well over 100k. My buddy has a TT 350z with almost 100k miles, and tracks it alot. Still as good as gold.

My last Nissan had 230,000+ miles on it until the transmission gave up. The motor itself was still going strong. I always found it funny how Nissan ads have "SHIFT" as their slogan but most often their transmissions have a lot of issues. LMAO
