AT Tranny shuttering

So I've made the 100% choice to boost, but of course since i've made that choice, i'ave noticed some moderate to sevre shuttering from what has to be some part of the gearbox.

It seems after a semi funky shift (all my AT brothers know what im talking about) my transmition says what the **** was that... and shutters at steady RPMS, and when it shifts it feels like a 12 year old (or on bad days me) driving a stick.

The good news is it does go away, after the cars been off for awhile, and may not come back for a few days.

I have infiniti looking at it tomorrow and friday... but anyone have exp with this? I hate going into infiniti flying blind, especially when they could pull the 'look at all your mods!'

Thanks in advanced, truely.

Could you elaborate on your problem, i have an AT and i have no "shuttering"... or no funky shifts. Is it when you are in MM mode, downshifting?

How many miles on her? Do you mean that the RPM's go up and down and it sounds like it might die?

Says who? Search, here and My350Z. The AT is just as bad as the 6MT with the clutch starting to slip after awhile... no difference. You think the transmission will last just as long with FI... go for it bud... I don't care either way really... lol.
and you'll also find a lot more AT's with TT's that are holding up just fine...

^Obviously any FI car wouldn't last as long as a car which hasnt been heavily modified... thats really common sense and i believe everyone knows of that risk before going FI.. but some boosted 5AT transmission on stock internals have lasted longer on others.. so its really subjective. I think a lot of other things factor in, also luck i guess... but you are correct a built motor is the right way to go.
