Snow Day in the Loaner G35s (long but funny)

Ok, dropped my car off in the morning on friday before the snow and picked up the sedan for what I though was gonna be the day. Obviously it started to snow so I never made it back to get my coupe but I was pretty happy with that.

First I want to say to everyone that thinks that their g35 is bad in the snow (Sedan anyway) Go have your car looked at. I was amazed at the way that this car performed in the snow yesterday. I couldnt get it to mess up with the VDC on. I never had to touch the brake to fix things for the most part she did everything on her own. Crusing down a highway I though it would be a good commericial as I drove past an plethora of cars and trucks stuck on the side of the road including BMW's etc. I was very impressed to say the least, I tried within reason to kick the rear end out and I simply couldn't.

Ok now for the funny part. Me and a bunch of friends were heading out to do some hardcore snow tubing so were all decked out in snow gear hot as hell in the car. So just for laughs the AC comes on and the windows are down. Next thing I know my friend mentions the word moonroof and It gets opened. Now noone stopped to think about the 3'' of snow on top of the roof and the fact that the moonroof slides into the roof of the car and not on top. Bam 3'' of snow falls on our heads (thankgod it was a loaner). So Naturally a snow ball fight breaks out in the car which spreads to the pathfinder that we were following. All out snow war on the highway while we were going like 25mph. God damn Hilarious!! I think we threw most of the snow that fell in the car out at the pathfinder but I probably have to do some more drying before I return it.

So the moral of this story. Forcasted snow days are a good time to take your G to the shop, Dont open the moonroof when it is snowing (should go without saying but oh well), and the G35s kicks a$$ in the snow!

To top things off Infiniti called and said I can keep the car till monday because of the weather. Thanx Infiniti!!

Oh yeah and the G35x must kick a$$ in the snow, anyone have anyy experiances with that one yet?
