looking at my options...

i have an 05 5at IP coupe....18'' oem rims...excellent condition (still has the new car smell)..mileage is currently at 8920 miles...KBB rates my car for trade in value at $28,750....the car is currently at stock form but i was looking this summer to put on volk rims...coilovers ...spoiler etc etc....even a BBK..all these mods will add up to over 10 grand..............so i was looking at my options...and with our g coupes taking a big hit when the new coupes come out i was thinking of upgrading to either a new G coupe (keeping in mind this depends largely on the unveiling of the 08 coupe)...but the only cars i would consider getting into are either the 335i from BMW or the new G coupe...(also id be definitely going with a 6mt model in either of these cars)...

so basically the point of this post is...i was wondering if many of you were thinking of the option of selling your current G and going with the new G......and which method you would go with...leasing or buying outright..or payments etc...just wanting some feedback....also bare in mind that most likely i will stick it out with my current car that is in tip top condition and just mod it up ..since i do absolutely love the car...but just looking at my options ya know?

If you know you will be upgrading to 08, then why bother spending 10 g upgrading your current G, you will def loose money when you sell your G.

Well that's up to you,but like they said, spending all that money if you are planning on trading in the car just makes no sense. I would save your money and if you want, then finance the new g if that's what you want, and use that money for parts for the new g,or just keep your old G and mod that.I'm staying with that I have. I like the ip coupe, and it's just getting started now. I'm going to get an aps single turbo kit for it.
