For their G35 Coupe? I heard the sound clip and it sounds really good. Better than the Borla. Sheeat I wish I heard that before buying my Borla. From pics I saw though it's not a true dual. Anyone have any info on that?

Re: Anyone have Nismo exhaust?
The NISMO is not a true dual exhaust, but is MUCH louder than the Borla.

I'm not a huge fan of the Borla and quite honestly havent been for a while now. They use to make really nice systems back when they actually gave a damn about quality and the way each and every system is built. Now the company has a more or less, lets just build em and sell em with high profits, attitude, and its effident in the G35 system. Look at any of the other systems out there and you'll see these companies take the time to polish and clean their systems up. Now for some that may sound like a waste of time for an exhaust system, but its the attention to detail that really makes a product stand out from the rest. Issue two with Borla is the sound. I heard it once and quite frankly, I didnt even know the car had an exhaust system until I caught a better look at the tips out the back. The system from idle to partial to mid throttle is very similar to stock with only slight hints of it being "free'er flowiing". Its not until you really get on it, that you will notice and feel the system. For some thats a plus, but for others (like maybe you) its not that desirable.

Lastly, the value on the system is not bad compared to everything else out there. Borla is the cheapest, and some will say its due to the lack of attention to detail, but lets be frank here - how much does it really cost to build that system? I think you all know where I'm going with that....

So, if you want something a bit louder, something everyone around you is going to be certain is aftermarket, you may want to look into the NISMO or even the B&B and the Fujitsubu systems. I believe the B&B is going for like $800, the Fuji system is like $750 and on the NISMO, the cheapest I've seen it was for roughly $900.

As for your system, I dont know what you paid for it, but it's selling on eBay for around $750 with free shipping in the US. I'm sure you could still get anywhere from $500 to $600 for your used system.

Good Luck!

Re: Anyone have Nismo exhaust?
Thanks for the info. I'm starting to notice the Borla tone more now but It's still not what I expected. My previous Borla's were much healthier sounding and I loved em. What I might do is try to find just the muffler and swap that. That's what provides most of the sound anyhow. Of course it's also the most expensive part! I also may sell it used and take a loss but not sure yet. Gonna give it some more break in time to see if it opens up any.
