Ok First off i searched the forums looking for guys with similar problems and didn't find anything that matched my particular problem so here goes.

As the title says the driver side window is rattling and ofcourse i hear it when i drive on rough roads. (symptom)

i also notice the when i open the door the window no longer goes down 10mm it goes down maybe 1mm and if i open the door i can use my hand to push the window down 9mm where it should be. when i close the door the window goes up 10mm as it should.

All other window functions work fine thank goodness. But the fact that it doesn't go down when i open the door plus the rattling is annoying.

has anyone experienced somethign similar to this before?

how do i fix it? i am out of warranty 41k right now 04 coupe

if i have to take off the panel how do it do that?

Wierd. In Canada, we have a 4 year 60k mile warranty. (100,000km)

 

knock on wood like a ****, but i havent heard my window rattle recently (unless i've tuned it out) but it used to (as in within the last month)

 

my window rattles only when i roll it down and back up while in the car. if i close the window and open and close the door, it goes away. it's weird and if it persists i'll bring it into the dealership

 

In the U.S. we have a 4yr 60K warranty also. Don't know what that guy is talking about...
