getting up to the infinti clock
Hey guys,
im trying to hardwire my concealed V1 piece to a new location..
I want to put it right infront of the clock above the navigation.
currently, it is located in my ash tray below my head unit... so im asking how I can get that wire up to the clock area. I kinda fooled around seeing what might come off if applying pressure but didnt have much luck up near the clock
any help would be most appreciated, thanks guys

all i can say is how to get to the clock area...
first pull the trim piece around the temp display off.
-pry something gently under the long part by the windshield to get ur fingers under and pull firmly forward. the rest you can figure out from there...

ahh, i see. if im not mistaken, does that "remote" power from the v1 unit itself?
The clock trim on the 06 has two parts, the top overhang needs to be pulld upward to disconnect from the bottom U-shpaed portion. then pulled straight back. There shoudl be just 2 clips there.the u shaped portion is a little tricky but if you just pry it carefully with something flat and study along the front portion it should just pop out... again, just some clips that hold it in. I've done this in 3 different G's now without any breakage yet *knocks on wood*

IMO, it looks much better up up & away!
