I've got a question about hooking up a satellite radio/mp3 player in my G. I read through several SAT topics as well as the factory ipod integration threads but am still not clear...
I have a Sirius S50, which is a sat radio and mp3 player in one. It is an external unit and I currently have it set up to play over an FM freq. The quality sucks. I have read that you can directly connect it to get better sound. What all is involved in doing this? I assume I need to get the right cable and then from what I have gathered in other posts I have to pull out the stereo and connect it to an AUX in or something. It would be awesome if there were a way to control the unit with the steering wheel controls, but just hooking it up would be great.
Any clarification would be GREATLY appreciated!
Oh and I have an 03 that is pre-wired for sat if that makes any difference.
