That's what most 30/60k services are. Check this, inspect that and if worn or needs replacement...additional $$, beyond original service 30/K service price.

Suppose the only draw-back is if those items not checked per service maintenance requirement intervals, might affect warranty coverage later on if those items fail? IDK.

Still could go to qualified independent service shop to do those 30/60K requirements for less and just keep your paperwork as proof of being performed. Warranty can't be denied if you have proof of work performed. Nothing says it has to done at the Dealer exclusively.

those prices are about right. if u wanna talk bout expensive, i heard the bmw m3 inspection service 1 and 2 are over a thousand ...

 

I am not saying they are expensive. Just really don’t understand (trust) the procedures listed. I know BMW #2 with brakes cracks deep into 3k, nothing to flinch about.
