$200.00 Aftermarket Sways install.
- If need be $35*4 ($140) for 05-06 end-links.

Where should I cut something out?

I paid $342 for my 30k Tune-up, which is where the list for the 60K tune-up came from.

Should I install the sway bars at another shop or by myself? Are sways a DIY?

Thanks for the responses.

My Stealer wanted $172.50 just in labor to change the MT and Diff fluid (I supply the oil) with job quoted 1.5 hrs total.
LMAO...that's $115 per hour. Nah...think I'll pass on that, what a rip off.

You can't afford the maintenance... do it yourself.

Don't begrudge the dealer for making a buck.

I am not trying to budget the dealership at all. I am just trying to get to the bottom of some issues. I just find it odd that the 30k and the 60k are the same procedure while one cost more. He also seemed to be confused on how many end-links were included in the price of $35.

Oh I can afford the maintenance, but why would I want to pay that $/hr at Infiniti when I could go to Nissan Dealer for a lot less $/hr or any other competent service shop to do the same kind of service.

Infiniti = Luxury brand. Luxury brand = more $$ for same type of service elsewhere

You really think they go around with their little notepad actually inspecting these things? That f*cking 60K "tune up" is a joke. Most of if not all of those things you can do yourself. Plus, if they find some worn out brake pads, guess what? Theyre gonna charge u for some new ones AND the labor for it. Read up, and DIY. Dealers are a damn joke

$119.00 Trans. Fluid Change==> it's about right if you drain completely the TF.
$79.00 Rear Diff. Change==> this is too much, the part only cost around $20.

$479.00 60 K Tune-ups
• General Maint. Insp.-T1234==> oil change, air pressure stuff=>$50
• Inspect Drive Belts-U0050==> you can inspect yourself if the belt is dry or crack. (belts part: $50, you wont replace it after like 60K miles)
• Replace Air Filter- U0100===> part only cost $15, get a part and replace it yourself.
• Inspect Vapor Lines- U0150
• Inspect Fuel Lines- U0200
• Oil + Filter Change- U0350 +U0400===> mention as above.
• Inspect Exhaust- U0500==>?
• Inspect Axle- U0550==?
• Inspect Brake lines, pads and rotors- U0600 and U0650==> you can inspect these stuffs for any leaks, wear out or any strange noise while driving it.
• Fuel Additive-Y0002
• Insp. Drive shaft Boots- U0710
• Cooling System Service- Z0004
• Lube Doors and Hinges- Z0005
• Adj. Parking Brake- Z0010
• Inspect and top all fluids- Z0007
• Throttle Body Service- Z0017
• Adj. Throttle Position SW-Z0018
• Adj. Idle Air Control SW-Z0020
• Perform Battery Service- Z0020=> check out if there is any waste acid build up on your battery, if it's clean then you are o.k.
• Inspect Steering System- Z0971==> still make a turn without sweat?
• Road Test- ZRT00===> you road test it every days, feel anything strange??

What's your mileage now? If your mileage is between the minor and the major service interval, I would suggest that you do the normal maintance and do the major service the next cycle. Unless you want to have these expensive service every interval according to what your dealer tell you so!!

Service for your G............

There's a lot of items on this list that may not need to be done if you have
aftermarket mods......air filter & exhaust or if you don't need an oil change
at this time. The trans/diff service is cheaper than my stealer quoted me.
They wanted $300 just for the tranny service.......was I leaning over?
Cooling system service is a good thing if it's replacing fluids and at 30K/60K
throttle body service might be a good idea. Nissan dealerships generally
charge less for the service shown on this list but they can't do warranty
work.

I hope $119 he's talkin about is the Auto Transmission Fluid change, cause I was charged $199 for my Manual Fluid Change, minus 10% since I bought the car from them but still. Oh well.

I will go back in and talk to them about it. If I get the 60k for $342 vs. $479 then I will do it. Otherwise the repeat items and items I can do myself will be deleted. There is no reason to be bent over; my money is better suited elsewhere. Love to hear the reason why there are duplicate items and what an axle inspection consists of.

Thanks for the responses.

Dealers making money by listing items on service sheets which they do not perform or do not even exist is wrong; however, I just am too lazy/time crunch to DIY.
