HID foglights

I'm thinking about adding HID fog lights to my G. I was looking at the PIAA 999 "hypo"? projectors, but for $1200.00 the JDM fog kit isn't looking too bad either. Its just a little more???

Does anyone have these kits installed? Any pictures?

What/how should it do about the grill. I'm unhappy about cutting/modding anything on my new car

Re: HID foglights

.... lol

I don't think anyone has sprung for hid fogs yet because of the price.... some people have put aftermarket fogs (cheap ones), but they don't look to hot!

Peace

Re: HID foglights

I believe there is a hybrid fog system from CATZ that is pretty close to HID color and brightness for alot less then a full HID system from say Phillips. It uses an inline ballast the pumps up the juice for more Lumens (brightness) and the color is also supposed to be close since the bulbs are Xenon gas filled. Do some searching on the web for it Catz systems. I found it a while ago but I don't remember where. I think the cost was about $200 for the ballast kit and wiring plus another $100 for the bulbs I think. Good luck. Peace.
