From this post I think that more of the ppl here are older...
I hate all types of cheap cars from Japan. All those economy cars with ricer mods can go to hell if you ask me. =)
A G35 is a real performance car. =)

I'm 48, and I find that the overall mentality on this forum is somewhat more mature than on many other forums. Many of the younger members seem pretty astute. It's cool to see so many of us "mature" drivers here, though. The only thing that bugs me is when people really butcher the English language. Remember gumpdriver? I think he posted on the sedan board more, but I never knew what he was talking about.

It is nice to be associated with so many mature G's, and I'm also impressed by the maturity of many of our younger G's.
I too have had difficulty with some member's posts, but their hearts are in the right place and their English is improving. It's nice that we are supportive and helpful since we're all brother and sister G's.

I am 33 and I also used to have a 99 CLK430 . . .I agree with your assessment that most of the G owners on this site seem to be a lot younger . . . I never thought that a car costing almost $40K would be attainable to younger people that are either still in school or just starting out in the workforce . . .then again, what do I know . . .

I'm celebrating my 30th anniversary of my 22nd birthday......just sold my I35 and took delivery of my coupe on halloween ...trick or treat I think the latter.... does seem to catch a lot of younger peoples attention...but come on so did the 427 corvette or shelby cobra of the late 60's..(uh oh, did I just date myself?),anyway I think more younger people like the coupe better than the 350Z (just my opinion) anyway I'm glad I'm not alone...besides what could keep you younger than the rush of acceleration out of a toll booth ! 2old 4this....

Turned 48 today. G35C funnest car I have ever owned. Had bimmers and Audis for 20 years. All foreign before that. When I was in my teens, all my friends and I were hitting the twisties in MGBs, Triumph TR6s and Spitfires, GT6s, Sprites, 2002s, and Fiats. We had manual chokes, constant valve-adjusting, and carbs as part of the pricless experience of motoring back then. Great memories for sure, but at my age the G35C offers the perfect compromise between sport, luxury and practicality ( have kids). Only 3400 miles so far with no regrets.

oh can i relate to the british cars of the era...i had a TVR vixen...tiny little car with a tr6 motor and drive train ....car would out run the xke jaguar...only problem was no one wanted me to park on their drive way....(leaked oil like a seive) every other day i had to track down some electrical problem, bad ground etc..(good old lucas wiring HA!) my foot would have stopped the car faster....leaked water every where and practically no heat in the winter to speak of.....but boy did i love the driving by the seat of your pants feeling when that car was running good! oh did i mention don't think of stradelling a raised manhole cover....bye bye to the muffler and bell housing...damn those days were fun! can't beat the refinement of the g's..2old4this
